Our Elk hunting camp offers you the old-fashioned pack in style adventure. It is located in the back country of Colorado's unit #15.  Our permit covers 52,000 acres of forest.

Our summer pack trips take place in the vast and unspoiled territory around Pagoda Peak, near the Flattops Wilderness Area.  You'll experience breathtaking scenery, and enjoy viewing elk and other wildlife in their natural state.  

On our Fall pack trips enjoy Colorado's beautiful fall colors and crisp mountain air, the sounds of Elk bugling and the warmth of a camp fire. Bring your cameras for a photography opportunity you won't forget.

Our “Saddles & Paddles” day adventures let you enjoy the magic of Colorado from our favorite perspectives – from the back of a horse and from the front of a boat!  Colorado's High Lonesome Outfitters teams up with Colorado River Guide for a double fun filled day.
